Job Opening: Accounts Manager, Bahamas

We are seeking a highly-skilled, hands-on Accounts Manager to join our team. We are looking for a candidate with excellent technical accounting expertise, a thorough understanding of internal controls, and the ability to guide and motivate a dedicated support team.

Key responsibilities:

  • Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including general ledger activities, reconciliations, and financial reporting
  • Prepare timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
  • Ensure compliance with applicable financial regulations, policies, and standards
  • Lead, coach, and motivate accounting support staff to foster a culture of accountability and collaboration
  • Coordinate external audits and engage with auditors and other financial stakeholders
  • Identify opportunities to enhance efficiencies and strengthen financial processes


Qualifications and Experience:

  • A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as an Accounts Manager, Finance Manager, or Accounting Supervisor
  • Strong technical accounting skills and comprehensive knowledge of internal controls and financial reporting
  •  Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
  • Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills
  • High level of integrity, professionalism, and attention to detail
